For the life of the install.
Technology ages. Firmware shifts. Service providers change. A Matrix Digital Systems membership means the system we designed stays the one you own — reliable, current, and quietly tended to.
Matrix Digital Systems provides 24/7 remote monitoring, priority support, firmware management, and annual on-site system reviews for smart home installations across California and Central Texas — with same-week onsite dispatch from Fountain Valley and Austin.
The work doesn't end at the walk-through.
The honest truth about smart homes: they need care. A new firmware version, a changed Wi-Fi password, a replaced cable company — any one of them can interrupt a system that was humming yesterday.
Our service memberships exist so you never deal with that. We watch your system remotely. We apply updates off-hours. We schedule an on-site annual review to recalibrate rooms, re-dress racks, and talk through new needs. You get one number to call — and we answer.
Remote monitoring.
24/7 watch over the system's health. Proactive alerts when a device or subsystem falls offline. Monthly health reports. Priority response during business hours.
Annual on-site review.
Everything in Foundation, plus a yearly on-site visit. We re-calibrate rooms, tidy racks, update firmware, refresh network gear, and walk through anything that's changed in the household.
Priority & after-hours.
Everything in Studio, plus guaranteed response times, after-hours support, loaner equipment, and an allocated technician for ongoing changes as the house evolves.

A one-year integration warranty.
Every Matrix Digital Systems install ships with a one-year integration warranty. That covers our programming, our wiring, our mounting, and our labor — independent of any manufacturer warranty on the hardware itself.
Past the first year, our memberships extend the relationship indefinitely. Most of our clients stay on Studio tier for the life of their home.
Service and support across our service areas.
Matrix Digital Systems operates from two studios: Fountain Valley, California and Austin, Texas. We deliver service and support to luxury residences across four primary markets.

What is included in a smart home service plan?
A smart home service plan covers 24/7 remote monitoring on OvrC and Domotz, priority remote support, staged firmware updates, one annual on-site system review with a written report, and same-week onsite dispatch coverage across California and Central Texas.
How much does a service plan cost?
Matrix Digital Systems service plans typically range from $2,400 to $12,000 per year depending on system size, subsystem count (audio, video, lighting, HVAC, security), and response-time tier. We size the plan to the actual install.
How fast do you respond?
Service-plan clients get priority remote response within business hours (typically under 2 hours) and same-week onsite dispatch. Off-hours emergencies are covered by the after-hours line.
Do you service systems you didn't install?
On a case-by-case basis after a diagnostic visit that establishes what's there, what's working, and what needs attention. We regularly take over systems from other integrators — you're not locked in to whoever wired the house.
Do you cover both California and Texas?
Yes. California clients get dispatch from our Fountain Valley studio; Central Texas clients get dispatch from Austin. Both offices coordinate service so a system installed in one region can be supported when the family travels to the other.
What happens on an annual system review?
We spend a half day at the home: walk every subsystem, retune scenes, update firmware, clean racks, replace worn hardware, refresh training with the family. You receive a written report and an upgrade-path briefing.
Do you offer emergency after-hours support?
Yes, for service-plan clients. Off-hours emergency line responds within an hour; onsite dispatch follows if the issue can't be resolved remotely.
Can I pay per-incident instead of a service plan?
Yes. Time-and-materials service is available for one-off issues. Service-plan clients get priority scheduling and better rates.
