How we work

Concept. Design. Integration. Service.

A Matrix Digital Systems project moves in four phases. Each one builds on the last. Each one is led by the same engineer from start to finish — through the life of your home.

01 — Concept

Listen first.

We start with a walkthrough — of the house, the blueprints, or both. What matters most in how you live. What's worked before. What hasn't. By the end of the conversation we know which rooms deserve attention, and which ones simply need to disappear.

02 — Design

Draw it.

Room-by-room engineering drawings — speaker placement, rack layout, low-voltage runs, keypad locations. Coordinated with architects and interior designers in real time. Nothing gets framed in without a plan.

03 — Integration

Build it right.

Our own technicians — not subcontractors — rough-in, trim, program, and calibrate. Racks are labeled. Cables are dressed. Rooms are tuned by ear and measurement before you see them.

04 — Service

Stay close.

Remote system monitoring. Annual on-site reviews. One number to call when you need us. We build systems we expect to maintain — because we're the ones who will.

Coordination

We coordinate with your team.

Architects, interior designers, lighting designers, general contractors, landscape architects — we coordinate with every trade on a project. We publish our drawings early, attend framing walkthroughs, and adjust as the design evolves.

On projects where an architect is leading, we follow the architect. On remodels, we follow the homeowner. Either way, the outcome is the same: a house where the technology is invisible until it is needed.
